Arriving the Mediterranean. Thursday, September 4, 2008
We are in the Mediterranean, a journey that took almost 3 months. But guess what feeling it was when we headed out to sea to Port Napoleon where we are going to put on the mast and give the boat a little facelift. Meet New Swedes, both on their way south and home. Although a welcome return to our English friends on Lady G. The trip from Lyon consisted a lot of vineyards, ancient castles and fortresses and cities from 1032 as Viviers. Luckily, the floodgates were less in number but they were as big as katerdaler. The highlight was probably Bolle `ne lock - down gating 22m! Even visits to Avignon, you know, the bridge in the song. We have plenty of warmth and soon begins a new chapter.
